            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Ironwood, North was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Carl Hayden Community Falcons by a score of  15-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their one-run performance the  contest before.

 Solis Coker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and eight unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 17 Ks. Those  17  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Natalie Figueroa, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ariana Velasquez, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Figueroa wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: North  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's a new  trend for North: they were averaging 3.2  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.2.
North's victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-8. As for Carl Hayden Community,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-8.
North will have a chance to go back-to-back against Carl Hayden Community: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
