Baseball Game Preview: Providence Athletic Club Panthers vs. Augusta E Eagles

Providence Athletic Club hasn't had much luck against Augusta E recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will take on the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. Providence Athletic Club has given up an average of 8.7 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Watt was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, Sean Mcnulty made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Joshua Williams was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

The win was the seventh in a row for Augusta E, bringing their record up to 14-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Providence Athletic Club, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal.
