 The Lincoln Northwest Falcons will head out on the road to  challenge  the Plattsmouth Blue Devils at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

 Meanwhile, Plattsmouth came tearing into  Thursday's  match with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp  9-2 victory. Plattsmouth might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven contests by seven  runs or more this season.

 Lincoln Northwest's win  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 7-15. As for Plattsmouth, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season.
