Midlothian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Clover Hill Cavaliers with a sharp 13-5 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marlee Gaskell made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
