Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Eagles vs. Abbeville Christian Academy Generals

The Trinity Christian Eagles will take on the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Trinity Christian fell victim to Lakeside School and their airtight pitching crew last Tuesday. They lost 24-0 to the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Abbeville Christian Academy might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Macon-East Montgomery Academy who claimed the real prize. Abbeville Christian Academy came up short against Macon-East Montgomery Academy, falling 17-5. While the Generals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 4-0 in the first period.

Rooty Ward was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Bower, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Abbeville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
