Little Wound's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 40-6 victory over the Pine Ridge Thorpes. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 46-20 win the Thorpes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Little Wound now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pine Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
