Walton dropped their record down to 8-11 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Arnold Marlins by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Braves couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Arnold, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5. Give their pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

For Arnold's part, the result came thanks to Bre Clark's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks. Clark has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Walton will challenge Jay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arnold, they will face off against Slocomb at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
