Softball Recap: Shippensburg Takes a Loss

Shippensburg's last matchup with Greencastle-Antrim could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Greyhounds lost 15-2 to the Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Greyhounds have suffered against the Blue Devils since May 6, 2021.

Shippensburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Greencastle-Antrim, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Shippensburg will venture away from home to face off against West Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Greencastle-Antrim, they will host James Buchanan at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
