Basketball Game Preview: James River Knights vs. Patrick County Cougars

The James River Knights will face off against the Patrick County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. James River will be strutting in after a victory while Patrick County will be coming in after a loss.

James River took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-29 win over Roanoke Valley Christian.

Meanwhile, Patrick County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glenvar.

Patrick County's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for James River, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
