Football Recap: Rodriguez Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Rodriguez and Christian Brothers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Rodriguez had to settle for second. They lost to the Falcons on the road by a 51-32 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

It was another big night for Jay Cummings, who rushed for 148 yards and four scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 58 receiving yards for Christian Brothers. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Cummings a new career-high. Christian Brothers also got help from Gunnar Marsh, who showed off his sure hands for 223 receiving yards.

Rodriguez's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Christian Brothers, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.

As of now, neither Rodriguez nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
