Volleyball Recap: Deuel Takes a Loss

Deuel and Hamlin squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Deuel had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Chargers. The Cardinals' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8, 25-15.

Jayci Trowbridge was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Deuel's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Hamlin, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Deuel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hamlin, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Sioux Valley on the 6th.
