Basketball Recap: Kennedi Mcghee Key Part of a Team Effort in Rams Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brewbaker Tech had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed a 43-38 win over the Greenville Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 36-28 last Monday.

Brewbaker Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kennedi Mcghee, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Mcghee has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more boards the last 32 times she's played. Heleyna Pennic was another key player, going 5 for 8 on her way to 13 points.

Brewbaker Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 27 consecutive contests.

Brewbaker Tech has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-16 record this season. As for Greenville, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-10.

As of now, neither Brewbaker Tech nor Greenville have any future games scheduled.
