Basketball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century lost against Magnolia back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Century Centurions took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Magnolia Sentinels. The contest marked the Centurions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Magnolia, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Century will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loara at 1:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Magnolia also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Pacifica at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
