West Florence got themselves on the board against Ridge View on Thursday, but Ridge View never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Blazers with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Florence and bumps their season record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Ridge View, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, West Florence will square off against South Florence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.4, the Bruins 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Ridge View, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blythewood at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. The Bengals' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Blazers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
