Game recap: Kaiser High School Football Team beats Rancho Verde

MaxPreps LOS ANGELES High School Football.

FONTANA, Calif. - Kaiser (Fontana, Calif.) captured the lead on a rushing touchdown with 1:00 left in the fourth quarter to beat Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, Calif.) 28-21 on Saturday.

The two teams were tied at seven heading into halftime. The Cats took the lead for good on a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

The Mustangs' Demorea Stringfellow played well. The senior wide receiver caught two touchdowns.



Kaiser's standout player in the win was Marquette Washington. He ran for one touchdown.

The defeat comes as a step back for Rancho Verde, which notched a 35-28 victory over Paloma Valley in its previous outing.
