Basketball Recap: East Coweta Beats Carrollton for Their Third Straight Win

East Coweta had won two straight games and Harper Rife did his part to make it three on Friday. The East Coweta Indians came out on top against the Carrollton Trojans by a score of 55-44 thanks in part to Rife, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 19 points. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

East Coweta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 33% in those games and 31.4% outside of them. As for Carrollton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

East Coweta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 82-62 loss against Westlake on the 25th. Carrollton has also already played their next contest, a 68-36 defeat against Langston Hughes on the 25th.
