Herbert Hoover extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Lilli Lancaster. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 win over the John Marshall Monarchs on Saturday with plenty of help from Lancaster, who had four digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Despite the defeat, John Marshall had strong showings from Sarah Hess, who had 22 assists, and Kaylee White, who had five digs.

Herbert Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 26-2-1. As for John Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4-2.

Herbert Hoover has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against George Washington on the 27th. As for John Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Poca on the 27th.
