Soccer Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

After flying high against Providence Hall on Tuesday, Delta came back down to earth. The Rabbits fell just short of the Richfield Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Delta were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Richfield apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The defeat snapped Delta's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record. As for Richfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Delta has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Juab on the 16th. As for Richfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Canyon View on the 16th.
