Baseball Recap: Stansbury Comes Up Short

Stansbury lost against Juan Diego Catholic last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stallions fell just short of the Soaring Eagle by a score of 3-2. The Stallions just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Stansbury saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elliott Sacre, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Stansbury's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stansbury will take on Ogden at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will face off against Cottonwood at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
