Martin Mitev posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Mitev's strong effort led St. Joseph over New Canaan and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
