If Alamo Heights was feeling good fresh off their 18-1 takedown of Wagner last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Alamo Heights took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tivy Antlers on Friday. The Mules were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Antlers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Elle Leavitt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Pearl Kingman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Leavitt wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Alamo Heights kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tivy only managed nine hits.

Alamo Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Tivy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9.
