Football Recap: Bethlehem Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against John Milledge Academy + How To Watch

Bethlehem Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the John Milledge Academy Trojans 49-6 on Friday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

John Milledge Academy found their leader in sophomore Asa Wall, who rushed for 135 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. Wall's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards. Lewis Cheney was another key player, throwing for 176 yards and one TD on only 12 passes.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethlehem Christian Academy will take on Providence Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for John Milledge Academy, they will challenge Augusta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
