Basketball Recap: Pettisville Takes a Loss

Pettisville suffered their closest defeat since February 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Baltimore Tigers by a score of 50-48. The Blackbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Lacie Allison continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Baltimore, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Allison is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Aubrey Cotterman was another key player, putting up six points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Pettisville dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Baltimore, their record is now 8-6.

Pettisville will venture away from home to challenge Gorham Fayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Baltimore, they will host Waynesfield-Goshen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
