Basketball Recap: Percy Julian Comes Up Short

Percy Julian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 59-29 defeat at the hands of the Shades Valley Mounties. The game marked the Phoenix's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Percy Julian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shades Valley, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Percy Julian will host Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shades Valley, they will square off against Hueytown at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. The Mounties will be up against the Golden Gophers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
