Northeast Dubois posted their closest win since September 26, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Jeeps: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Northeast Dubois who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 15-9.

Bailey Werner paced Northeast Dubois' offense, picking up 11 kills. Werner got some help from Raynie Schnell and her 14 assists. Schnell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Northeast Dubois has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season. As for Eastern Greene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Northeast Dubois and Eastern Greene will both be playing Mitchell the next time they take the court. The Thunderbirds will host the Bluejackets at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Jeeps will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
