Basketball Game Preview: Miles Bulldogs vs. Roscoe Plowboys

The Miles Bulldogs will challenge the Roscoe Plowboys at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Miles will head into Tuesday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Winters on Tuesday. Miles put the hurt on Winters with a sharp 42-21 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 446th, while the Blizzards are ranked 1099th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Roscoe waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 68-51 win over the Bearcats.

Miles has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for Roscoe, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.

Miles barely slipped by Roscoe in their previous meeting on January 7th, winning 42-41. Will Miles repeat their success, or does Roscoe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
