Mount Notre Dame is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Springboro just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 11-2 to the Panthers.

McKenna Manley was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Pitzer, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Kings earned a 6-3 victory over Little Miami last Monday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.
