It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Blessed Trinity had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Union Grove Wolverines by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Blessed Trinity walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 23-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Leading Blessed Trinity to victory were Ruby Mcdermott and Allie Deweese. Mcdermott had 21 digs, while Deweese had five digs and 14 assists. Mcdermott is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Blessed Trinity was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive matches.

Union Grove's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sadie Peterson, who had nine digs, and Riley Bethea, who had ten kills, five aces, and four digs.
