Basketball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Drops Highest Score of Season Against Triton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tippecanoe Valley). They took down the Triton Trojans 53-36 on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savannah Hawley, who posted six points.

Tippecanoe Valley's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Triton, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Tippecanoe Valley will venture away from home to face off against Jimtown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Jimtown: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Tippecanoe Valley has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season. As for Triton, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Elkhart Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
