Springtown not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Clyde Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Porcupines.

Springtown's win bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Clyde, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Looking ahead, Springtown is taking a road trip to take on Lake Worth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Worth has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something Springtown will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Clyde, they will host Sweetwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Clyde 3.9, Sweetwater 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
