Football Recap: Notre Dame Prep Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Stratford came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Notre Dame Prep, but Ja'Cari Harris wouldn't allow it. The Lancers took down the Red Devils 26-7 on Friday thanks in part to Harris, who rushed for 142 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Harris is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

Notre Dame Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nate Achelus, Jordan Razor, and Jaylan Bellamy picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Stratford's side was Nathan Derisme, who picked up three sacks, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles.

The victory (which was Notre Dame Prep's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.7 points on average this season. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
