Softball Game Preview: Brewbaker Tech Rams vs. Holtville Bulldogs

The Brewbaker Tech Rams will take on the Holtville Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Brewbaker Tech nor Holtville posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Brewbaker Tech fell victim to Saint James and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Trojans. The Rams have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Holtville also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Wetumpka by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Holtville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailea Boone, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Boone is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

Holtville's loss dropped their record down to 15-10-1. As for Brewbaker Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
