Volleyball Recap: Jolie Chamberlain and Jordan Klevansky Secure Win for Lake Oconee Academy

Lake Oconee Academy posted their closest victory since September 3, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past the Flowery Branch Falcons 2-1.

Leading Lake Oconee Academy to victory were Jordan Klevansky and Jolie Chamberlain. Klevansky had ten digs and two aces, while Chamberlain had nine digs.

They weren't the only good server: Lake Oconee Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Lake Oconee Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Flowery Branch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Lake Oconee Academy will welcome Cedar Shoals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flowery Branch, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lumpkin County on the 14th.
