Clay entered their tilt with Episcopal School of Jacksonville on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles a 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clay got a great performance from Rylan McMahan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched. McMahan has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Merrick Rapoza was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Easton McMahan also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
