Basketball Game Preview: Lowndes Vikings vs. Camden County Wildcats

The Lowndes Vikings will take on the Camden County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Camden County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lowndes, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Lowndes didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Thomasville, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win.

Meanwhile, Camden County suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 65-37 loss at the hands of Brunswick. The Wildcats have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Lowndes pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Camden County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Lowndes lost to Camden County at home by a decisive 64-50 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Lowndes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
