The San Ramon Valley Wolves will head out to square off against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Ramon Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Hillsdale's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Thursday, San Ramon Valley needed a bit of extra time to put away Liberty. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Lila McLeod spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Addie Layous was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Ava Lyons also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Hillsdale was able to grind out a solid victory over Los Gatos on Thursday, taking the game 7-3. The win continues a trend for the FIGHTING KNIGHTS in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.
Hillsdale also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Lola Jones gave up three earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the most strikeouts Jones has posted since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Giuliana Brum, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Mia DeMartini, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
San Ramon Valley's record is now 3-0-1. As for Hillsdale, their record is now 2-0-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. San Ramon Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hillsdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
