Soccer Recap: Middleton Takes a Loss

Middleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks. One reason for the loss might be Middleton's aggressive play style: Ethan Blanes and Ryker Leavitt were both handed yellow cards.

Middleton's goal came courtesy of Blanes, who's now up to three this season.

Middleton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Canyon Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Middleton will head out to face off against Nampa at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Canyon Ridge, they will be playing at home against Bonneville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
