Preview: Stafford vs. Columbia

Columbia (2-1) and Stafford (2-2) go head to head this Friday at 7:00 PM. Columbia has had difficulty moving the ball in its last three games, so hopefully it can find a way to get more yardage this week.

Columbia lost to El Campo 21 - 7 last week. Senior Alec Herrera didn't go down without a fight, though. He put up some defensive resistance with 16 tackles.

Meanwhile, Stafford scooted by Bay City last week with a score of 27 - 7. Junior Tu'shawn Wilson didn't have many carries in the previous game, but he had more touches this time and made them count as he ran for 125 yards and punched in one touchdown.

The last time they met, Stafford was the decided 48 - 7 victor. Columbia couldn't get the same offensive movement going as Stafford (398 yards compared to 263 yards), so it will surely be hoping to change that this time around. Will Columbia avenge its loss? We'll find out soon enough.
