Basketball Recap: Paxton Skates Past Florala with Ease

Paxton won the last time they faced Florala and things went their way on Friday too. The Paxton Bobcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Florala Wildcats 57-10. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paxton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marley McClelland, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Falk, who earned six points and four steals.

Paxton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Florala, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paxton will head out to face off against West Florida Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. West Florida Baptist Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Florala, they will face off against Pleasant Home at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
