If Wellston wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Alexander, they should've done a better job of containing Abbi Ohms. The Spartans put the hurt on the Golden Rockets with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Ohms, who had 12 digs and two aces. Ohms is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-11, 25-16.

Alexander now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wellston, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Alexander is set to challenge their familiar foe Nelsonville-York at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wellston will face off against rival Meigs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
