Basketball Recap: Bryce Anderson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Heritage Christian Academy over Victory Christian

After flying high against Mount Calvary Christian Academy on Friday, Heritage Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Heritage Christian Academy Patriots fell 61-50 to the Victory Christian Eagles on Saturday. The Patriots have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Anderson, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Parker Buetow, who earned 15 points.

Heritage Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Victory Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Heritage Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 64-55 victory against Mount Calvary Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Victory Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-52 loss against New Life Academy on the 7th.
