Recap: Reagan Bison vs. Central Rockets
The Reagan Bison lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Central 60-7. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reagan in their matchups with Central: they've now lost four in a row.
Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Corianna Warner, who scored 17 points. Warner is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Damaria Gatlin, who scored 14 points.
Reagan dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reagan will take on Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hialeah Gardens' defense has only allowed 28.7 points per game this season, so Reagan's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Jackson at 5:00 p.m. Jackson is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
