Basketball Game Preview: Waterloo Tigers vs. Bloomfield Bombers

The Waterloo Tigers will take on the Bloomfield Bombers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bloomfield will be up against a hot Waterloo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Waterloo simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Midlakes 63-33. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Screaming Eagles are ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bloomfield humbled Midlakes with a 61-31 victory.

Waterloo pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Bloomfield, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Waterloo came out on top in a nail-biter against Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 67-64. Does Waterloo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bloomfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
