Volleyball Recap: Mt. Healthy Takes a Loss

Mt. Healthy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Fairfield Indians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Owls of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-4.

Mt. Healthy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Fairfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Healthy will face off against Trotwood-Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairfield, they will head out to challenge Lakota East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season.
