Basketball Recap: Beardstown Takes a Loss

Beardstown lost against Augusta Southeastern back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Beardstown Tigers took a 56-37 bruising from the Augusta Southeastern Suns. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beardstown's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Augusta Southeastern, their victory bumped their record up to 10-18.

Looking ahead, Beardstown won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lewistown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beardstown is facing Lewistown at the right time seeing as Lewistown is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Augusta Southeastern, they will head out to take on Bushnell-Prairie City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
