IMG Academy Royal had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Naples Golden Eagles 12-4.

Connor Scheich was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Waller, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Scheich wasn't the only one making solid contact: IMG Academy Royal kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in five consecutive contests.

IMG Academy Royal pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Naples, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Looking ahead, IMG Academy Royal will venture away from home to challenge Community School of Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Naples, they will welcome Gulf Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
