After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Xavier, Appleton North was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Oshkosh North Spartans 3-0. The contest marked the Lightning's most dominant win of the season.

Appleton North walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-16.

With the win, Appleton North broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-26. As for Oshkosh North, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
