Baseball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Lower Dauphin

Lower Dauphin took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Hershey, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Trojans on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Lower Dauphin pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Hershey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
