Basketball Game Preview: Lafayette Generals vs. Owen County Rebels

Last Friday, Lafayette got the win against Scott County by a conclusive 65-44. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Owen County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 50-44 to Conner. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Lafayette's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Owen County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
