Soccer Recap: Southeastern Local Victorious

Southeastern Local took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Carlisle, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Indians on Tuesday.

Southeastern Local hit Carlisle with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josie Henry (2), Galina Spracklen, and Emily Waddle.

Southeastern Local pushed their record up to 10-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matches. As for Carlisle, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-2.

Looking ahead, Southeastern Local will take on Twin Valley South in a tournament on Thursday. As for Carlisle, they will head out on the road to challenge Archbishop Alter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
